Gel
Gel technique is probably the best known and most common method in Europe. The material is also based on acrylic, but an UV lamp is required for clumping the applied gel coat. It can be done on natural nails using sculpting method and extension with tips. Gel allows greater flexibility, and for the majority it is the ideal solution.
It does not matter whether the gel or acryl is applied on the natural nails. Regardless of this, they grow normally. Depending on the activities and nail growth speed, because of the static nail plate, corrections are necessary every 4 to 6 weeks, and in case of problematic nails, by individual arrangement.
The only differences between acrylic and gel technique are in treatment and function, because the ingredients are generally the same. Rumors about acrylic threatening the health can only spread unprofessional people, who do not know how to do acrylic or do not offer this type of technique.
